Member sign-in: magic links and social login
Members sign in without passwords: they enter their email and get a sign-in link, or use one-tap Google or Facebook login if you enable it. You can also create members manually.
Passwordless by default
Members enter their email and receive a sign-in link that expires in 60 minutes. One click in the email and they're in. There are no passwords to create, forget, or reset — which means dramatically fewer "I can't log in" support messages for you.
One-tap social login
You can add Continue with Google and Continue with Facebook buttons to your sign-up and login screens. Open Settings in the admin, choose Advanced (all in one), and use the sign-in providers card to toggle each provider on. Members can also link a social account to an existing email account from their own profile page.
Creating a member manually
From the Members list you can create a member yourself: click Create member, enter their email, and optionally set a password. Leave the password blank and the member simply signs in with an email link like everyone else. If the email already exists, you're pointed to the existing profile instead of creating a duplicate.
When someone can't sign in
First check the spelling of their email on their profile (Edit info fixes typos on the spot). Then have them request a fresh link — links are single-use and time-limited. If it still looks wrong, use Log in as this user to see their account exactly as they do.
Step by step
- Open Settings in the admin menu.
- Choose Advanced (all in one) and scroll to the sign-in providers card.
- Toggle on Google and/or Facebook.
- Save — the buttons appear on your sign-up and login screens.
Good to know
- Turn social login on before launch — every removed step at sign-up means more members.
- Sign-in emails always deliver, even to members who have unsubscribed from marketing — logging in is never blocked.
