Grant or remove packages for a member

Packages unlock automatically when purchased, but you can also grant or revoke them by hand — for one member from their profile, or for many members at once from the list.

How package access works

When someone buys a package, they get an entitlement to its content automatically. A manual grant creates the exact same access without a purchase — no charge is made and no email is sent. Each entry in the member's Packages card shows where it came from, so purchased and manually granted packages are easy to tell apart.

For one member

On the member's profile, the Packages card lists everything they currently own. Pick a package from the dropdown and click Grant access to add one; click Remove next to an existing package (and confirm) to revoke it.

Revoking is reversible — granting the same package again simply re-activates it, with all the member's progress intact.

For many members at once

From the Members list, select members with the checkboxes and use the bulk action bar to grant or revoke a package for the whole selection. The result tells you how many were granted, how many already had it, and how many failed.

Step by step

  1. Open Members in the admin menu and click the member.
  2. Scroll to the Packages card.
  3. Choose a package from the dropdown and click Grant access.
  4. To take one away, click Remove next to it and confirm.

Good to know

  • Revoking a package does not refund the purchase — issue refunds separately from the payment history.
  • The AI assistant and the API can grant and revoke packages too, which is handy for automations like "everyone tagged workshop-2026 gets the workshop package."
  • Locking a class as package-only pairs naturally with this — grant the package to give someone the key.
