Review member ideas and feature suggestions

Members can suggest improvements from their member area. Their ideas land in your inbox's Member ideas tab, where you can forward the good ones to the AutoCreator team or dismiss the rest — with an optional note.

Where ideas come from

Members have a feedback page in their member area where they can describe something they'd like your platform to do. Each submission arrives with a title, a description and the member's name and email, and shows up in two places in your admin: the Member ideas tab in Members → Messages, and the dedicated Member ideas page in the Members section of the menu.

New ideas have the status Pending and count as unread in your inbox, so they're hard to miss.

Approve, dismiss or annotate

For each idea you have two main actions. Approve forwards the suggestion to the AutoCreator product team as a feature request — use this for ideas you'd genuinely like built. Trash dismisses ideas that aren't a fit; nothing is deleted permanently, and you can restore a trashed idea later if you change your mind.

You can also attach an optional note to an idea before acting on it — handy for adding context like "several members have asked for this" so the request carries more weight.

Statuses keep the list tidy: Pending (awaiting your review), Sent (forwarded to the platform team), Trashed (dismissed) and Approved.

Step by step

  1. Open Members → Messages and click the Member ideas tab (or open Members → Member ideas).
  2. Select an idea to read the full description and see who submitted it.
  3. Optionally add a note with extra context.
  4. Click Approve to forward it to the AutoCreator team, or Trash to dismiss it.
  5. Use Restore on a trashed idea if you reconsider.

Good to know

  • Ideas are a free roadmap from the people who pay you — skim the tab weekly.
  • Approving costs nothing: it simply puts the request in front of the platform team.
